Seeking education is one of the prime needs if one wishes to compete globally. No matter you open your eyes in a developed country or a developing nation, a desert or a country blessed with natures blessings, earning for bread & butter is a natural aspect which could be achieved satisfactorily only if one gets at least the basic primary education.

Being one of the tourist destinations, Dubai also caters to this need by means of various government & privately managed organizations and universities of national & international repute that are running successfully for this purpose. The only area of concern comes into picture when the situations and circumstances are to be dealt differently by both the locals as well as the foreign nationals who reside in the city either for a business purpose or for a short tenure on transfers or for seeking higher education.

Dubai promises itself to be a knowledge based economy where organizations and education related establishments like the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, Knowledge Village, Dubai Academic City, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, Harvard Medical School Dubai Centre, London Business School, Michigan State University, University of Strathclyde, Manchester Business School, Warwick Business School, Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, Cass Business School, Hamdan bin Mohammed e-University, Dubai School of Government, Tamkeen centre for the Visually impaired, The National Institute for Vocational Education, Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, The Emirates Academy for Hospitality Management, Dubai International Academic city, e-TQM college, etc. could be availed to its full utility to benefit as per ones requirement.

For this, a thorough research needs to be carried out amongst the local bodies so as to get acquainted with the terms and conditions that are applied herein to avoid last moment embarrassment and misleading as well. Dubai government extends its full length support in this case which is a very appreciative thing and can be exploited for self benefit and in turn for the nation’s progress. A symbiotic association I will say …

As the new Dubai mounts itself up, the old Dubai embraces itself towards fading. With around 80 new apartments placed in the 30-40 storey sky kissing skyscrapers, Dubai now is on a complete high-rise.

Though Dubai’s neighbors are taking different steps at defending themselves from foreign cultures and wars, Dubai deems at ingenuousness and respect for the foreign cultures and believes that this is the only way to remain at peace. As the new Dubai mounts itself up, the old Dubai embraces itself towards fading. With around 80 new apartments placed in the 30-40 storey sky kissing skyscrapers, Dubai now is on a complete high-rise. The Internet City, Knowledge Village and the Media City are all six-lane highways with the glass and stainless-steel buildings.

Most of the people were shifted to Bastakiya, wherein the houses were made of gypsum, coral and sand. in the 1990’s to guard their homes from expanding and today, the area is festooned with cement and towered houses that welcome the cool breeze. The mazed up streets making their way since 1890’s is the only reminder from the city’s past life. Adjacent to the town is the Dubai Creek that is adorned with galleries, shopping centers, restaurants and cafes. In a very less time, the city has flourished into a place with spectacular development and endless wealth. Obscure stone and wood decorations on the top of the houses indicated the wealth of a family in the town. Bait Al-Wakeel was one more historic site wherein the very first office building in Dubai was established and the Al Fahidi Fort, constructed somewhere is 1780’s was the oldest building of the city. As the city blossomed itself up, the historic sites faded slowly. But, the government has initiated on promoting and signifying the historic sites that reflect a touchable link to the fast dying precedent Dubai.

A living metal, glass and stone allegory, Dubai today is lined up with limitless posh sky kissing skyscrapers and glamorous constructions. The enormous Atlantis Hotel along with the magnificent Burj Al Arab is built on their own man-made islands. The Burj Dubai makes its way as the tallest sky scrapper. The Palm Jumeirah is also one of the most beautiful constructions of the city. The big waterfront of the Persian Gulf is shared by the profoundly guarded fortresses of the Port Rashid and the large container ships of the Jebel Ali. Also, not forgetting its past, the old shops of Dubai Creek are nested comfortably in their places.

A few most fantastic changes have been made in the Khalid bin Waleed Road, Al Maktoum Street and the Creekside. Also, a few more areas are under construction. The Dubai Waterfront, the biggest waterfront, the World Islands that comprise of about 300 man made world shaped islands, the Palm Islands, the biggest artificial islands, Hydropolis, the first underwater hotel, The Burj Al Alam, tallest hotel, Dubailand, twice Walt Disney and is expected to take over the title of No. 1 tourist destination along with a few more tall buildings, the Princess Tower and the Ocean Heights will line over Dubai very soon. Also, the Dubai Metro System will be a completely automated rail system of the world and the Dubai World Central International Airport will be the biggest airport as well as a business airport.

Dubai Internet City is a free trade zone which incorporates Dubai Media City and Knowledge Village all within close proximity to each other. Dubai Media City has been specially established for media related businesses while Knowledge Village is a learning community. A free trade zone presents unique opportunities like 100% ownership, 100% tax free, Capital Mobility, Easy Licensing, Cyber Regulations and Protection of IP which every IT company dreams of.

If companies just want to test the settings of Dubai Internet City then they could hire a temporary office with all available facilities. A fully serviced package includes temporary offices, office services, free research data, IT/Telecom services, conference facilities, trouble free licensing and quick visa processing. Dubai Internet City offers technology that is above par then the rest of the word including smart buildings, IP telephony, Call Centre solutions, LAN/WAN technologies, Broadband internet, leased circuits, VPN and Wi-FI and Frame Relay & ATM Hosting.
